Residents
Members of the Stratford House family are clean and sober men focused on developing and maintaining a manner of living rooted in the principles of 12 Step recovery. They act with dignity, expressing respect for themselves and their fellows. They take responsibility for their actions, their relationships with each other, and the condition and comfort of Stratford House. In their community, and in their personal lives, they model recovery.
Some men may be newly sober/clean; fresh from treatment or other controlled environments. Others have significant time in recovery, but choose to live in a supportive situation with peers also walking the same path. Together, they create an environment where members can "find the similarities" in their stories, regardless of apparent differences in background or experience.
